This website focuses on unexplained and mysterious phenomena normally not covered by the mainstream news media. The scope is very broad, including such diverse areas as ghosts, UFOs, ouija boards, monsters, strange animals, new diseases, stigmata, crop circles, witches, demons, and the Devil. There is also a special section called “dark politics” which reports on the global impact of hidden economic and political conspiracies.
When I visited the site, the feature article was about stigmata, which are mysterious wounds or skin markings that correspond to the wounds suffered by Jesus before his death on the cross. Individual cases of stigmata go back to the middle ages, or possibly even to Saint Paul, but a good part of this article is devoted to modern cases such as that of the well-known stigmatic Padre Pio.
An unusual article called “The Evil Eye” discusses the belief (or superstition) that certain individuals are able to cause harm or even kill simply be means of their eyes. It says that people can protect themselves by wearing a horn-shaped pendant called a cornicello.
In addition to the articles, the site also features podcasts, book and movie reviews, and a store.
